Kinder weather today as we headed north out of the razzmatazz of Rimini with its endless strip of hotels and tacky beach-side entertainments.
A good cycle path took us around the marina and past the lighthouse.

Unusual house built around a tree!
We rounded a corner and suddenly came to the stunning harbour of Cesanatico. It was like a mini Venice and we took a break to sit down and eat our picnic lunch looking at the lovely boats and waterfront buildings.

A little further north at Cervia we were sad to say goodbye to the Adriatic for the last time. It has been more or less our constant companion for many kilometres, but we needed to head inland towards Ravenna. The next time we'll see the sea will be the North Sea at the Hook of Holland!
